I began to journal my thoughts and experiences as I started a new career driving a semi-truck, soon I began to organize it into a fiction novel. In 2008, "Learning to Soar Above the Storms" was published. It has received a great response from the readers. I have been honored to receive awards for sixteen poems, which are now in publication.
